Question about "Getting Tagged"

Just curious what is "getting Tagged" and what does it mean oh yea, and who does this "tagging"??

I asked the exact same question yesterday on the Universal board! I will tell you what they told me. No one knows who the tag fairies are or how many there are. They put clever little phrases underneath your name usually based on something you said in one of your posts. But sometimes they put things under your name that has nothing to do w/what you said. They make things interesting.
Oh, and in case you didn't notice before...look under my name. I didn't have anything written there yesterday. The tag fairy apparently read my question and decided to give me a couple of tags. The one about going to Disneyland is based on something I wrote in a previous post.
The one about having the secret hots for somebody is just something they added for the fun of it. The Dark Marauder is someone on the Universal Board.
I think the tag fairy is fun and interesting myself. Besides I want to stay on the tag fairy's good side. Never know what your tag will say!

I just got tagged yesterday

i was having a pretty tough day and posted about it on the community board
the wonderful tag fairy thought to brighten my day by giving
me a tag

you can write your own saying under your name it will be in black only the TF can add the color

just be careful the TF's do not accept begging if you want a tag you have to be patient.

Just be careful what you wish for from the tag fairy. I got tagged once and then changed it and asked for "a little color" in my tag. I got just that. The words "a little color" in color in my tag.

I love the tag I have now because it is who I am.

I was wondering too, how to get the tags. Someone mentioned that you can type in your own tag in black. How do you do that?

I would venture a guess that the tag fairies do semi-regular searches on the phrase "tag fairy," and tag the MOST DESERVING of the DISboard posters.

Hi,
You can type in your own tag by going to the user CP and clicking on user profile. Add in your tag where it says title and push submit modifications. HTH .
