In two weeks I will be staying at the Port Orleans Riverside in WDW.

This is going to sound like a dumb question so just bear with me for a second lol.

I have someone that wants to visit me early in the morning and stay until late....is this possible?

I think that as long as the visitor isn't staying there with you for the majority or duration of your stay it should be fine pooh:.

There is a security check to get a car into the lot so they will need your info to look you up, room number doesn't hurt if they are driving. That's really about it.

my last visit I had a friend fly in for a couple of days. I had her added to my room and there was no charge because the price had paid was based on double occupancy. this was at the POP

Most hotels charge double rates any ways,so it shouldn't be an issue. If have a car might have to pay for parking

I had a friend and her daughter be day guests with me at pop. Let the front desk know you'll have a visitor and they should get them a key card. They stayed over night and no one questioned it.

Come to think about it, I had them added to the room reservation at one point and called the WDW line and the lady suggested I get them magic bands from the room reservation, and then cancel them out for day guests. Probably not the most honest thing to do but it was her idea...
