Question about GAC

I am completely confused. I have some very serious health issues both inside and out. I physically cannot stand for more than 5 to 7 minutes on my legs. I have heart issues,diabetes, liver problems,which needless to say, I get tired very easily. The last time we was at WDW, I was unable to enjoy so many rides because I could not stand in line long enough to take my turn because of the discomfort. The heat really gets me, so that is why we are trying December. What I need to know is do I need an GAC card and if so, do I need a verification from my doctors here at home? That you so much

since you cant stand too long, I am assuming you will be in a wheel chair or ecv. you should not need a gac unless you park and walk into the lines. most attractions, the cast member will guide you where you have to go or you will see a sign. if you are getting the gac, you do not need a dr's note. you just tell them what you need.

Disney's answer to mobility difficulties is for you to rent a WC or ECV. In spite of recent publicity, there is no front of the line pass. WCs and ECVs usually go in the same line as everyone else.

I was there last December and the weather was perfect! It can be unpredictable, but it's definitely friendlier than summer.

Disney CM's will not look at a doctor's note.

If you can't stand or walk for long periods, you will have to use a wheelchair or ECV - even if it was only for getting from attraction to attraction you would still need it.

If you have other medical issues that a wheelchair won't help, you should go to Guest Services and explain them. The CM there will determine if there is a GAC that can help you.
