We stayed at Fort Wilderness last October and loved it. My ds is going to Seaworld for a cub scout event in July.
We want to go to Blizzard Beach one day we are there.
My question, can we stay at FW for 3 or 4 days and only do a "disney" thing one or two of the days?

Yep, you can stay there and not do a single Disney thing. Have fun!!!

For us the "Disney thing" begins as soon as we turn off I-4 and get on WDW property and culminates with setting up at FW. The Parks, DTD and all other events are just icing on the cake. :thumbsup2

We have stayed at FW for over a week and never seen a park or the outside of FW.

I agree with this completely. In fact, when we visit the in-laws in Kissimmee, I can feel a magnetic draw from Disney property. ANYWHERE on Disney property is the "Disney thing" to me.

DD and family recently moved to St. Cloud and to turn off I-4 just one exit before WDW is so HARD. Have to work that wheel because car wants to go straight a little longer. ;)
