Question about Free Dining and Extra days at Hotel

Sounds like a great plan, I also have a friend who many times books an extra night on vacations if he is leaving in the evening, nice to not have to check out ealry in the morning.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with this...as someone else said, what would be the difference between doing this and leaving Disney property in the middle of your stay to visit family elsewhere in Florida?

Nothing...you paid for it...use it.

but using that logic, if i pay for a ticket for a "phantom guest" and the room limit can hold that addition non-person, then i'm entitled to put them on my ressie/eat their food...

and since we're leaving late in the evening, i'm thinking that's a GREAT idea and just may book another night, just to give us somewhere to hang our hats the last day!

Disney does not allow phony guests for the dining plan, but they do allow you to have somewhere to hang your hat. I called and asked. Are you saying it is ok to cheat? I do not think it is ok to break rules, even if they seem stupid to us.

no, i'm not saying it's okay to cheat at all... but if one's not cheating, then i don't see how the other is...

i said this above: [not that i am in any way endorsing phantom guests 'cause i'm not, but i really don't see the difference]
