Question about free days on MYW passes

Hi,

I have seen several places are offering 5, 6, or 7 day (14 day expiring) tickets for the price of a 3 or 4 day pass. It doesn't look like I can add the non-expiring option when buying but does anyone know if any multi-day Disney pass can add the non-expiration option at the park? There is a chance we will use all days but I may plan the trip differently if I can pay to make non-expiring and then save for a weekend trip at a later date.

thanks!

You can add the no expiration option at the parks, but I believe it has to be within 14 days of first using it (upgrading that is). So just make sure you do it before you leave the world.

I didn't think you could add that on the 14 day limit tickets because that is part of the bargain. We had them 2 years ago and 14 days was the limit - we could not put an extension on them. You can add to the regular hoppers if you do it before you go.

When my mum and I were at the World 2 years ago all we had to do to get no expiry added to the tickets was go to guest information at the hotel and ask (and pay of course).

If it is a real Magic Your Way pass, you can add non-expiration and other features after you get there. Currently we suggest that you use it somewhere prior to modification, for example do the upgrade from inside a park. This causes the upgrade price to equal the cost of the features as posted above the ticket booths regardless of where and when you bought the pass.

Sometimes you get a "promotional" pass and for the most part these cannot be modified.

The 14 day and 21 day unlimited passes often available in England are not modifiable.

The cost of non-expiration depends on the sum of the number of days used, the number of days remaining, and the number of days you want to add, which sum may never exceed ten.

Thanks for everyone's help. We ended up not risking it and just using 2 days we had leftover from a prior trip, buying tickets for MVMCP, and spending the other days doing stuff outside the parks (Kennedy Space Center, Downtown Disney, swimming, playing cards, visiting other resorts so we'd know where we wanted to stay next time, etc). We were suprised by how quickly our "free days" FLEW by.
