Question about FQ and using a Electric Scooter

It's been 3 years since I have stayed at FQ but I need to know about using a electric scooter there. Where you go down the ramp to catch the boat, does it have something like a handrail on both sides? I can't remember and want to make sure it isn't completely open on the side of the water. Also, do you charge them in your room? A picture would be great. Thanks for any help.

The ramp down to the dock is safe. I can’t remember if it had sides, but I remember that I didn’t have any concerns about my wife driving the scooter down the ramp. The bottom of the ramp and the dock were a different story however. I remember being very concerned about my wife going over the edge into the water.

We charged the scooter in the room. We moved the table further away from the window air conditioning unit and backed the scooter into that space to charge it.
