Question about fp+ with Disney Jr stage show

We picked the Disney Jr state show as one of our fastpass selections. It says to arrive between 10:10 and 10:25 but the show doesn't start until 11:20. Why do we need to get there so early? I figured having a fastpass for there would mean we could show up right before it starts.

I think that's for the 10:30 show. Our time frame is the 20 min before the 3:10 show, with3:05 as last chance to enter. If you don't see anything in the 11 time range they may be out of FP for the 11:30 show.

Huh, that's odd. Are you sure you have the time show correct?

We used a FP+ for this back in October and we walked up right before they started letting people in for the show. It ceretainly wasn't that far before.

You may want to rethink using a fast pass for the Disney Jr show. From what I understand, it puts you right up front which is a really bad viewing place (the stage is up above the kids, from what I understand). I have not done this, so it is all impressions - but hopefully someone with more info will chime in.

You must be looking at incorrect show times. The FP area isn't great, and you will have no trouble getting in. The show is best viewed from the back. I would use the FP for something else.

Yes, I am dumb, I was looking at the wrong thing. Sorry but thanks for all the info.

We used a fastpass for it because this is the ONE thing we for sure want to do but sitting right up front is kinda crappy. I will have to think about it.

You sit on the floor for the show, and the theater is huge. I don't think that I've ever seen a report of someone not getting in.

I wouldn't use it for that. Unless the line to get in is crazy, it's kinda pointless. You sit on the floor, the view from the very front is not good at all (we could barely see the puppets), and really, who is the show for ultimately? Little ones. And they know all the little songs and will dance around like tiny monkeys. At least that's what my son did!

Back viewing is perfectly fine. In fact, it's almost preferable, since it gives the little babes more room for crazy dancing. Plus, the bubbles and doubloons fall more from the back area.

Agreeing with this post. Don't sit up front, much better in the back/middle. I've never been to a Disney jr show that was full (but we go off season). It's some of my favorite memories of our kids, always great!

We just did this in Jan with FP+. We arrived 5 mins before the end of our stated return time (we got held up meeting Minnie) - so prob at 10:20 for the 10:30 show and we were just entering WITH the standby line from outside the theater. Just a total waste for us - even though I didn't want to sit in the front anyway, if that's where they are seating the FP+ people - did that once and regretted it. We much prefer the back 1/3 of the theater. In the future I will go earlier and spend the extra 15/20 mins in the standby line for this show rather than waste FP+ on it.

Thanks for this! We have FP+ also, and I'd be disappointed with those seats.

We just went in November and were some of the last people to enter we were put to the right side in the middle and to be honest it wasn't bad at all, the kids stand up and dance and parents all stay seated on the ground to have a fast pass for it would be completely pointless, my son spent half the time trying to catch and pickup all the stuff that fell from the ceiling lol

I selected Disney Jr but based on what everyone is saying I think I'll change it. We are going to be at the Studios for Star Wars weekend. Hopefully the standby lines will be short since everyone will be doing Star Wars stuff!
