Question about food at the yak and yeti in AK

A couple questions about the counter service meals at the Yak and Yeti in AK. It does not list side items in the menu I found for here. Can anyone tell me if you get to pick a side dish to go with your meal?

Also for the kids "chicken bites" are these chicken nuggets? or stir fried chicken? Or can you just describe the chicken for me please. Thanks

You pretty much get rice. Or rice. Maybe even rice.

They're the same chicken used in the adult dishes, without the sauces. They're fried chunks, but different from (and in my opinion, much better than) the stock chicken nuggets found in the parks.

If you are on the dining plan, you get the rice that comes with the entree, you do not get a separate side dish covered by the plan.

Don’t know what descriptions you have on the dishes, but here’s 4 entrees

Baby Back ribs: slow-roasted with hoisin BBQ sauce, fried rice and sweet chili cole slaw.

Shaoxing Steak and Shrimp,stir-fried vegetables, scoop of plain rice

Crispy Honey Chicken, which is tempura chicken, with broccoli, carrots, honey sauce, with jasmine (white) rice

Sweet & Sour Tempura chicken, served with choice of jasmine or brown rice., sweet/sour sauce with chunks of pineapple, green and red peppers. (shown with brown rice)
