I know they just came out with some Sept rates but do they ever give those rates for high time cruises? Like spring break (Easter) or should I stop hoping? I want to know if I should apply for a FLA residence card since we just bought an investment there.

Don't count on FR rate during peak seasons.

To get a FL Resident rate, you must live there enough to be classified a Florida Resident by DCL, which I believe they would use the State guidelines. That usually means acquiring a FL Drivers License for which, if I'm not mistaken, you would have to prove you resided in-state at least 180 days the prior or current calendar year.

DCL may accept other proof of FL residency besides a drivers license, but I wouldn't know what that would be.

Those of you who know better please correct me if my presumptions are wrong...

Thanks

I have to agree! Don't count on FL resident rates for peak times. The reason that DCL offers the FL resident rates is because they are the slow times and they are trying to fill the ship. I've only seen them for the fall (Sept) and late winter (Feb).
