We are visiting Disney World in September and are thinking of getting the premier passport that can be used at Disneyland and Disney World. How does it work with the new arm bands. Do you just go on to the website and tell them when you are going to be there and they send you an arm band? Do u link the passport to your hotel stay? Is there any complications with it being that Disneyland doesn't have this technology yet? Anyone have one of these passports and care to elaborate?

If you haven't already, you need to setup a My Disney Experience (MDX) account. Once the MDX account is setup, add all individuals traveling with you to the 'Family & Friends' list. If any of those already have their own MDX account, use the invite function to connect with them.

Once everyone is listed in your 'Family & Friends' list, link your room reservation to MDX using the 'Link Existing Reservations and Tickets' page. Once you link the room reservation, you can go to the 'MagicBands and Cards' page to confirm your shipping address, select colors and a names to be embossed on the underside of the MagicBands. The bands normally ship at 30 days prior to your check-in date.

You need to have park admission linked in order to make FastPass+ selections.

The 'connect additional reservations, tickets or friends?' link on the main MDX page can walk you through many of the linking options.

As far as the Disney Premier Passport goes, I've seen mixed results in people getting them linked to their MDX profile. Since these are technically two tickets on a single card, they have the relevant ticket numbers (or bar codes) used on each coast.

The back of the Disney Premier Passport should link something like this:

The WDW Ticket Number is what's highlighted.
