Once you have used up all 3 of your fast passes in your first park of the day, can you then make other fast passes for another park if you have hoppers on your tickets?

Yes.
You could also only book 1-2 at the first park and then once you tap in for the 1st one you could look for your second park.

Ah, good to know. I will keep that in mind! But I would need to fulfill my first three fast passes, which ever park, before I would be eligible to look for a tier 1 as my 4th?

No. The step by step tips are in the FP FAQ ADDENDUM.

No you could look for a tier 1 at the second park.
If you were staying in the same park all day you would have to use all 3 before looking for a second tier 1 but not when park hopping.
Example: You book SDD and TOT. When you tap in for SDD you can look for TT at Epcot...

This is interesting. I have never park hopped but I am going to do so on this trip. This was my previous itinerary with a 3- day base ticket with an extra bonus water park day on it.

March 30th- arrive
March 31st- Epcot
April 1st- Typhoon Lagoon
April 2nd- (EMM) Magic Kingdom
April 3rd- Animal Kingdom
April 4th- tour the Fort Wilderness Campground for about 1/2 a day before leaving

I am now going to drop it down to a 2-day hopper and water park option with it and do this schedule.

March 30th- arrive
March 31st- Blizzard Beach
April 1st- Typhoon Lagoon
April 2nd- (EMM) Magic Kingdom/ Epcot late at night
April 3rd- Animal Kingdom/ Magic Kingdom late at night
April 4th- tour the Fort Wilderness Campground for about 1/2 a day before leaving

You would think I have never been to the world before, but I am really still finalizing plans here at the last minute. Not my style. What is your personal opinion on this schedule. I think I will get a total of three of the choices with the water park and more since that option will give me two visits, then the TA I go through has a bonus visit they give out too. Is a mini golf visit included there? Would that even be worth it? I don't like to waste a bonus visit, so any advice?

Haha I'm probably not gonna be much help as our styles seem very different.
I don't do the water parks.
Also I've never done golf.
I am also a RD until park close style with my mid day breaks being a snack and people watch or going into a show.
I do tend to do shorter trips though.
Often times I'll get a 2 day park hopper and a MK party ticket.
This coming trip I'm doing a 3 day park hopper and here is my plan for reference.
July 22: arrive in the morning/hang out in the CL lounge/go to DS
July 23: AK morning and MK afternoon/evening.
July 24: HS morning and Epcot afternoon/evening (FEA dessert party if/when they release dates)
July 25: MK morning and Epcot afternoon/evening
July 26: go to DS/hang out in the CL lounge/leave at 8pm

Ya, I love the water parks. Best ones I have ever been too. I don't think I want to waste my time doing the mini golf, I will look more into other options. But ya, the touring styles are really different. But I would love that CL lounge though!!

Your style would probably get a lot of use out of CL.
we are splurging on it even though we are only getting full use of it the first and last day.
We do plan to use the lounge for breakfast everyday and the evening apps when we are at MK in the afternoon/evening since we are staying at the contemporary.
