Question about Fast Pass 60 day window on MDE

I searched this thread and couldn't find the answer. My upcoming trip isn't until October and I know I can't select Fast Pass times until the 60 day point. My question is regarding using MDE...last year I noted that if I clicked on the select your fast pass before it was time it just wouldn't allow me to do it and at the 60 day window it opened. I tried it today and it told me I had to attach my tickets so I selected the option saying my tickets were part of a package and when entered my confirmation number a message popped up saying that the confirmation number was already attached to a package. When my 60 day window opens I'm worried that it won't allow me to select times and I'll get the same message. Anyone have experience with this. Sorry for the long post! Thanks!

Pkg. tickets won't allow booking until the exact 60-day mark.

My window opened up last night at midnight. several weeks ago it wouldn't let me in to do anything. Last night before midnight it let me in and link the tickets in my group. When I finished that at 11:58 it told me I had 61 days until my trip. At midnight I tried to get in again and it let me in and I made all my FP+. For my 6 days the only ride I had trouble getting my choice times was TSM.

This was my concern too! But I was able to book my FP+ no problem when the window opened. Just be aware of when they open at 1 vs midnight. I somehow misunderstood and thought it was determined by the day you are booking for not the day you are doing the booking. Logged on at midnight and it told me it couldn't find my tickets and it told me that I needed to wait until 30 days out. After a bit of panic, the clock turned 1 and everything worked fine!

I would call just to be sure. I had this problem recently with linking annual passes. It took multiple calls & then the operator told me it could take up to two weeks before I could start making my fp selections. I freaked because my fp booking window had already opened. She said I'd get an email letting me know when I could book the fp's & that she couldn't add any fp's for me even though it was their error. I never recived that email, but checked everyday after I talked to her, & everything was fixed with a few days.

If it says "Valid park admission required" next to your name, that is normal. That will go away as soon as your FP window opens up. I have a MYW package booked and if I click on the FP+ button on the main screen with my countdown and plans it tells me that on September 6th I can start making selections. If I click on the FP+ on the drop down box, it says I need valid park admission. Did it say you didn't have tickets at all or that you needed valid tickets for admission?

When I click on FP + it says: First we need to link your tickets. And you have to click on the option if they're separate or part of a plan. Mine are part of a plan so when I click that option it lets me enter my conf. number and last name and the. I get this message:

Ok I just want you to know that you have nothing to worry about. Looks like you were on the MDE from your phone so I went into my app from my phone and clicked on FP+ and it tells me the same thing, that I need to first link my tickets. This is probably just how it looks from a phone app and you won't see that if you were on a computer or ipad using MDE through the internet- it would tell you that you need park admission. Your package is still there and fine, because it is so early this is the message that comes up. I also have my tickets as part of a MYW package. So no worries!

Here's some info from mesaboy's FP thread regarding booking by guests with packages (see the last sentence).
For onsite guests, the 60-day prebooking window will not activate until the 60-day mark. Before this point, the booking window will be only 30 days for those with room-only plus active tickets. At midnight (or 1:00a on certain nights) of the 60-day mark, the 30-day window will automatically expand to 60 (or more) days. Additionally, guests with resort/ticket packages commonly report that all members on the account with tickets don't appear on the MDX account until the 60-day mark.
