Question about Fantasmic meal package

I was considering doing this on our upcoming trip. I know I plan to use Hollywood and Vine for the restaurant. My question is what time do they start serving the 'dinner' that can be used to get the reserved seating at Fantasmic? I don't mind eating early (in "real life" as well! ) so the earlier, the better for me! Would a meal at 4 pm be an acceptable time?

We have a fantasmic dinner reservation at the Brown Derby for #:40 pm. I am not sure if all the restaurants have the same times, but am faily sure you'll have no problem with a 4pm seating. Call early!

I kind of thought that!! I just checked which number that # was above! 3:40 would even be great for us. We could skip lunch that day. When a meal is all you can eat, it is better to bring the kids in really hungry! Otherwise, they eat about half a plate of food and are ready to get back to the park! It's almost a waste of money. 2 of my three kids are now adults, even in the dining department. They will be 14, 13 and 10 at the time.
