Question about Family Joining Us Halfway Thru Vacation

Happy Easter Monday (to those that celebrate Easter)!

Just a question for the experts... I have 3 studios booked for F&W in October as follows:

Oct 5 to 10 - OKW
Oct 10 to 12 - AKV

Occupants of 2 of the 3 studios are going to be there for the entire trip so there's no problem. The third studio however is a different story. SIL and BIL are going to join us only from October 9 to 12. This brings me some problems because I know if we want to get DDP, all occupants of the room SHOULD get DDP for the entire length of the trip. To solve this problem, I was thinking of breaking up the last studio into three ressies rather than 2 - will this work?

Oct 5 to 9 - OKW with 2 occupants only (DDP for 2 people only as well, thus following the ALL-IN-YOUR-ROOM rule for DDP)
Oct 9 to 10 - OKW with the original 2 occupants PLUS SIL and BIL (DDP for 4 people now)
Oct 10 to 12 - AKV with the original 2 occupants PLUS SIL and BIL (DDP for 4 people now)

Do you think this is feasible?

Second question - will Magical Express work for SIL and BIL too? Do I just call MS up to let them know that 2 are joining us halfway thru?

AKV is a separate reservation so you could get the DDP for the OKW dates and forego it for the AKV portion or vice versa. You might also be able to shift the contents of the various rooms to get an extra person on the DDP for the first 2 rooms and not do the DDP for the last. You'd have one person you'd have to pay OOP for but that's it other than your 3 day guests. Given the makeup of the group, if you have 2 people listed for the entire time but are there only 3 days, that gives you credits you can use to splurge for signature meals or the like. I think you can easily make this work in several varying ways and still stay within the rules.

If you break up the one reservation at OKW, there is no guarantee that you will get the same studio for the last night since you can't link them. You'll have to check out and back in on Oct 10.
