question About FairyGodMailer

I know there is a thread to sign up but I was afraid my post might get lost in all the requests. When you send postcards to someone from WDW, do they have mailboxes on WDW somewhere or do you mail them from your resort? What about stamps? Do they sell special Mickey stamps or anything?

Didn't do the FairyGodMailer but I have answers. I brought my postcard stamps from home. Bought the postcards at the parks and then filled them out and dropped them in a box at Guest Relations. They do get stamped with a special stamp there - my parents got one with the Epcot ball on it since that's where I mailed their's from. Hope that helps!

I get Disney stamps ahead of time and bring them with me. I mail mine from the hotel. I'm not quite sure what the stamp looks like from there. But at least the Disney stamps are on there.

The USPS actually sells some kind of Disney stamp? I didn't know that. That is why I wondered if they sold them right there at WDW.

I get these same stamps right at my local post office, although it's been a while. I do need to stop & get some more.

That's great! I honestly didn't know they had them. I called my local post office and they said they do have some for me to just go down there and buy. Thanks for telling me!

now i see it says postage for a postcard is only 26 cents unless it is over 6" by 4.25" . are they usually over that big?

No, the postcards aren't that big. I just use the Disney stamps (even though they cost a little more) because I think they're so cute.

No. It would be great though, if the gift shops had Disney stamps we could use on our postcards.
