I assume many of you are familiar with the Mickey head eyelets from WDW.
I have a question.
I've never really worked with this sort of embellishment (I'm a simple "Brad"s girl myself)

But ut seems to me most eyelets come with a back piece to "fix it" to a page.
these do not. So how do you get them to stay on? Do you mount them on the page by using a piece of foam or something underneath?
The package brings no instructions or recommendations for use. As we are now "snowed in on Long Island" I wanted to get some serious backlogged scrapping done. My son is dying to use the eyelet on something! I hate to waste them if I'm doing it wrong.

Thanks! Kathy

Do you mean it should have 2 pieces? It's just one piece and you need an eyelet setter and a hammer to adhere it to the page (although I can never get the WDW ones to set right... I think my setter is too small). Anyway, one end of the setter will have a small tip in the middle. Place your eyelet through the hole in your paper, turn the paper over, place the tip of your eyelet setter in the hole of the eyelet and pound it a couple of times with the hammer... the back should flatten and voila... your eyelet is set.

Part of it is that they are so large. It appears that there is no back to set it but there is. You will need to make sure you have an eyelet setter big enough. I ended up having to go out and purchase the eyelet setter set that has several sizes. But if you can't do that, you could try to put it through the page and use some Zots or something to hold the back in place. Don't know if it will work but you could try on a scrap paper.
