Question about extra magic hours program

We are going in January and the new extra magic hours program will be in effect. Which puts all of my planning in limbo!

Does anyone have any details on how they did things during the trial period last may. Since the search is not up yet on the boards, I can't find the old posts about this.

We are staying at Shades of Green and I have a sinking feeling that SOG guests were not allowed to partipate in the trial last May even though SOG guests normally can do EE. I don't know for sure since I did not pay attention too closely.

I don't care so much about the early entry part of the new program since we are going at a slow time of year, but the evening hours would really help since the parks close earlier in Jan.

I saw on another site that SOG guests were allowed to participate in the early morning program last May but NOT the evening hours. That's what I was afraid of. I hope this will not be the case in January!

SOG and the DTD hotels are given the chance to participate by paying Disney for the priviledge. That's what happened in May. How it's going to work this time don't know yet but I would try calling SOG directly and see what they say.
