Question about Express Pass

Apologies if this has been asked before (pretty sure it has) but this month we're making our first trip to Orlando sans Disney. Staying at Royal Pacific so we will have Express Pass benefits. Please explain how this works. Is there a special card or band to use at the attractions? Can you use it all day at all attractions as many time as you want or just once per attraction? Appreciate any and all help.

you will receive a hotel key card for all on your ressie at time of check in.
you use that hotel card to create your photo id express pass in the hotel lobby.

it is for unlimited usage for all the rides and shows in the parks that have express lines.
keep this card with you at all times you are in the parks.


you need the hotel card if you use early entry to the parks.

You get a special card that is created at the hotel. It will have your picture on it. You can use it all day as many times as you want; however, it's not good at all attractions. Specifically, it's not good for Forbidden Journey, Gringotts, or Hogwart's Express.

Yes. And the ride signs. And also...

Specifically, it's not good for Forbidden Journey, Gringotts, or Hogwart's Express.

And Ollivander's wand shows and the twirly ride in the Simpson's area.

How big is the EP? I'm asking because I would like to get a little zippered pouch for my lanyard and want to make sure the pass will fit. Is it driver's license size?

Also not good for Pteranodon Flyers. Though you need a child between 36"-56" in height to ride that as well.
