Question about expected Jan code

We are booked at POP for 1/11-1/21. We have a AAA rate now, but are watching for the new offer. Since I am traveling over the marathon weekend will I be able to get the discount then too or is it blacked out? Would I possibly have to have 2 ressies? I believe the end of our trip is also the MLK weekend- would it be blacked out there too? Just trying to get a jump start on my thinking for when it comes out. Thanks

There doesn't seem to be a consensus on how this will be handled for the new year and new pricing structure yet. I don't think you'll have to worry about the marathon weekend, because it wasn't blacked out on the codes that have already been released, but MLK weekend might be an issue. I asked the same question about the MLK weekend, because we check in the Wed before the holiday and are staying 11 nights, and the few responses I got were split. Some said that I'd need to break up the reservation, while others said it will go by when we check in with a higher and possibly non-discounted rate for the weekend nights.
