Question about excursion times and more

If I booked an excursion through DCL and the listed time is 9:45, that is the time we meet at the ship, correct? We booked the dolphin swim in Cozumel and the excursion time is 9:45. Will we meet on or off the ship? Ashore time is 8:30.

Also, I can book directly through Dolphin Doscovery for 10am and save a good bit of $. They have great reviews but it looks like they don’t give refunds if your ship misses port or it’s cancelled due to weather- just credits for future use. That makes me nervous in case we would never go back there. What would you do? We would save about $250 plus it includes lunch.

Typically, excursions in the morning meet onboard the ship, in a lounge or theater. You'll get a ticket in your room when you board that has the meet time/location indicated on it. It could be 9:45 or 9:00, or 9:30....
