Question about Epcot

I am staying at the Swan and I read we can enter Epcot through the International Gateway. But doesn't the World Showcase open like two hours after Future World? Would the International Gateway be open and if not, how would we get to the front of the park?

You will be able to walk thru world showcase to get to future world via the international gateway prior to the world showcase opening. It is a nice pleasant walk from the swan to epcot.

Yep, you can still get to Future World through the International Gateway even though the World Showcase isn't open yet. They just rope off the parts you're not allowed to go to.
