Question about EMH at MK

We are having dinner at the Hoop Dee Doo on the night that the Magic Kingdom has the evening EMH. We wouldn't be able to get to the park until just after the park closes to the general public. My question is this: are you allowed to enter the park after the park has closed to the general public (if you show proof you're staying onsite)? TIA

Yes you are able to enter. You can enter up to the close of the EMH as long as you are a resort guest.

Thank you! What do we use as proof that we're onsite guests? We're all buying different tickets. I guess we just show our hotel room card?

Yep! That's all you need. Some CM's don't even ask, but have proof just in case. Have fun!
