Question about DVC MagicBand sliders.....

Do you know if they only send them to the actual DVC owners on the reservations? I made two reservations for DS's honeymoon in November and they DIDN'T get the slider.

DH and I are the owners and the only ones on our reservations (at AKV and BLT) in Jan.

As long as the owner is on the reservation, they include the sliders. If you make a reservation for someone else, then no, they wouldn't be included. But Disney isn't always consistent.

Yay! Thank you for this. We booked our first DVC trip (HOORAY) and I was wondering why I didn't get my slider in my welcome packet from Disney. Now I'm even more excited about your MagicBands!

Got my magic bands for my trip next month and no sliders. I pulled the box apart to make sure I wasn't missing something. We have plenty, but seems odd.

We received our bands a few days ago and no sliders here either.

We got our sliders in our box for our trip at the end of June. I had them on our entire party's MBs(8 of us), but each time we took advantage of our discount I had to show my membership ID. And even a few places I had to show my membership ID, drivers license, and pay for what my mother in law wanted... Some would let her pay, but some stores made me pay... I can understand though having to show the membership card because lets face if you didn't then people you know would sell those sliders to try and make a buck unfortunately.

Sounds like they aren't sending them anymore. We go in about a month & I guess our order will come without them too.

wow that was just announced yesterday!! crazy timing... Very sorry for those that have upcoming trips or just missed out. They are neat to have for the conversation piece, but you did still need to show your DVC card with a drivers license to get anything.
