Question about driving backstage near MK

Kind of an unusual question but friends of ours just bought a house in Windermere, not far from the MK area. Looking on the map, the shortest route from property to their house would be to go out Center Drive to Reams Road. I know that anyone can drive backstage at least as far as Disney University, because I've done that, but can you get all the way out to Reams Road if you aren't a CM or will you encounter a guard shack at some point where you need ID to pass?

you may run into that the road may be closed during fireworks. I have friends in the area and they take that road.

Thanks. We won't be down again until next summer (AFAIK) but at least I know I can drive back that way.

Good to know though I doubt we'd be heading there at that time of night.
