Question about Driving at WDW...

Does anyone know if you have an non-Florida (Louisiana) permit, not license, if you can drive in Florida?

I'm going to say no. I live in PA and I can't drive outside of PA because of my learner's permit.

I'm about 90% sure that permits only apply to the state they were issued, but I could be wrong.

I mean, here in Michigan we get permits at 14 and 8 months... I don't think the other state gov'ts are "OK" with that risk xD

i'm pretty positive that learners licenses are only valid in the state they were issued.

not to mention disney is a maze, and i wouldn't want an unlicensed driver going around there anyway.

I'm with Shelby...you shouldn't be driving around there if you don't have your license and also why would you want to, like she said it's like a maze. Are you wanting to get driving hours in on vacation?

Thanks for the info, it was more the drive down, not the actual driving in Disney, I wouldn't want to drive @ Disney with the maze of roads, but with the interstate....it can get long and stressful on my parents, and they thought it might be good for me to get some experience on the interstate.

I'm pretty sure you have to stay in your state.

I'm not 100% sure though. I'm from Louisiana, and when my friend and her family went to Houston last fall she drove most of the way. Just until they got into the big city. She as her license now, but then she just had her permit.

Idk if it was illegal or not though ?

i got my hours done over the summer in montana. didn't count against me. so idk. btw, i don't live in montana.
