Question about DME

My daughter recently made a reservation for DME using my member number (and the last 4 digits of my social ). MS has my email address associated w/ the OKW reservation. My daughter thought I would get an email confirmation shortly after the DME reservation was made; I did not. Is that what usually happens (we haven't used DME before)? Or do you just wait for the luggage tags to arrive when it gets closer to your travel date. We are going in September. Thanks for your help.

I've never received an e-mail confirmation regarding DME. About a month to 3 weeks before your trip, you'll receive the envelope with tags and instructions. The envelope will be sent to the address MS has on file for you.

I always reserve DME online and I always get an email confirmation within a few days time.

To clarify my earlier answer, I have only booked DME by calling MS. I've never booked it online so that is probably why I have not received confirmations via e-mail.
