Is it standard to have a room with 2 queen beds and a couch/day bed or would you have to request it specifically?

Also has anyone had experience sleeping on the couch/day bed? Comfortable enough or no?

My son slept on the day bed, he's 15, and loved it. We did not have to request it but I am guessing its a given with 5 in the party like we had.

We had that configuration with myself, DH and DS. DS slept on the daybed and found it very comfy.

Every single PPH room I've had has the couch/daybed. I'm pretty sure it's in all rooms. It's not like at DLH.

And I've slept on it, and it's comfy. It flips over/out rather than pulling out. A bit tricky but it's good.

Agree with the others. We've stayed a PPH a half dozen times and had the daybed/couch in every room. I've never slept on it but my kids do (who generally dislike couch beds) and have never complained. It helps that its more of a real bed than your typical pull out couch style one.
