Question About Disney's $15/pp--1 pt short

I'd like to use borrowed points to book a ressie for a 1 night stay (extending trip). The stay is 11 points. I only want to borrow 10 points from next year's points. Will MS let me borrow 10 points, then pay $15 for the 1 additional point?

I don't see why not. The purpose was to allow members the chance not to have to borrow if they did not want to so if you only have 10 borrowed point and want to add that one, I think it would work out.

Yes I needed 2 points and used a Disney gift card to pay for them from MS. I borrowed 6 and purchased 2

I was told that the purchase was once per UY so I would not be able to purchase 1tup (1 time points) again in my March 2010 uy.

So the limits are up to 24 points once per UY.

We just purchased 1 pt for our November trip. It's extremely easy and took no time at all !

Thanks guys! I just called and was able to borrow 10, purchased 1pt.

The only thing that kinda worried me was MS had to transfer me to a supervisor to process the CC, and this took a while. My only concern would be that the room may be taken by someone else while they're transferring the call and processing the CC. . . (not sure if they put the room on "hold" during the transaction).
