Question about Disney Visa Bonus Rewards Purchases...

My husband received a pin for the 2X rewards for July, Aug and Sept., and has enrolled in the program. However, it says "eligible purchases" all over the place, but I can't find out what those are?? Is it on every purchase, or just certain things, liike gas or groceries? Anyone know? Tried calling, no luck.

I received one for a 5x reward bonus. It was on purchases for 4 categories: Groceries, Gas, Travel and Vacation I believe. You start earning the extra after you spend $250 in a category in one month.

I got the 5X but it says I have to spend above $750 in any of the categories.

I got the $750 minimum also. From what I've seen, the minimum is usually a little bit higher than what you usually would spend in a month, in order to try to get you to spend a bit more. At least that's the way it has been for me. And it's always been only for certain categories, which are stated in the offer. Note also that depending on how the merchant puts the charge through, it may not show up properly as one of those categories for Visa, and won't count toward the total.

you have to spend over $250 during the month in the category. The reward bonus then kicks in for anything spent over that $250. Then the whole proceedure starts fresh again for month #2 and then for month #3.

It's combined. I was able to meet mine last time because I booked my airfare to WDW in addition to my gas/grocery purchases. I got the same offer again recently but probably won't meet the goal this time since we are trying to reduce expenses, not increase them!!

How do you get offers for this type of promotion? I've had my card for several years and never got one of these types of offers .

won't show up until after September. At least that is what a Rep told me when I called yesterday. 6 to 8 weeks after the promotion ends.

We've had the card a little over a month and I still cannot find what my "rewards" are. Do I need to do something other than just use the card?
