Question about Disney Visa $200 Gift Card

Hi, everyone!

I received the $200 gift card Disney Visa offer a while back. Since we were planning to go to Disney this fall, I applied and promptly received my gift card. Yay!

My question is that my rewards will be posted today or tomorrow from booking our trip. I will not be able to request a rewards card that will get here in time (we leave on 9-3). Can I have the rewards points added to the $200 gift card at Disney World, or can you only do that with another rewards card?

I don't believe you can add the points to that card, but you can go to DTD or any park's Guest Relations office and get your rewards card. Visit www.disneyrewards.com for more info. Have a fun trip!

As PP said, I don't believe you can do this. The gift card looks totally different from the rewards card and the rewards card will have an expiration date.

I just returned from Disney World and puchased a Gift Card with my Rewards Card. I did this because I had money left on it and it was going to expire before I return to DW. So by doing this the money is on a Gift Card that never expires. It allowed me to keep rewards I earned without having to spend them on something I didn't really want before my card expired. I usually try to spend them on my hotel bill or tickets.

You might call and see if you can add it to a gift card that already has a balance. They may even be able to do that at The World of Disney in Downtown Disney which is where I purchased my gift card with my reward points.

OP - can I ask how you got the offer? Was it an email? Found on a website? Just curious. DH needs a new cc and this sure would be a nice perk!!

While you can not directly request a $200 Gift Card offer, you can do 1 better by signing up for the $100 Statement Credit offer (i.e. actual cash), and then email them after you get your card and ask for an additional $100 to bring your enrollment bonus up to $200. I just did that and got the $100 Statement Credit and 100 Disney Reward Dollars.
