Question about Disney Pixar Cars game for Wii

Hi!
My Mom bought the Cars game for my DS for his birthday, which is Monday...and we are trying to figure out if it is compatible with the Wii Wheel. She'd like to get it for him if it is, but don't want to get it unless it works with it, and I can't find anything that says it does or doesn't.

Can someone confirm for me.

I'm pretty sure it is not compatible with the wii wheel. My sister bought my nephew this game on christmas and it needs the nunchuk. You move the car around with the joystick thingamajig on the nunchuk.

Thank you..that's good to know. She bought the game from Amazon and it suggested the wheel, but nothing said it needed it

We've always used the Wii Wheel for Cars just like Mario Kart. You just insert the Wiimote into the wheel the same as for Mario Kart. DD likes Mario Kart better, but my friend's son loves the Cars games. We've never used the nunchuck attachment though.

I see now, after more research...that the Mater game can't use the wheel, but the Cars game can...I'm wondering if that's what causes the confusion I've found online. And of course when I went to toys r us, they didn't have the game so I could see the box to see.

We will go today at get the wheel so she can give it to him with the game. Looks like it's a lot of fun!
