Question about discounts

Do you get a big discount for the vacation club if you decide to do it while vacationing at Disney? Thanks

No - bummer - huh? In fact - I don't think they do ANYTHING different that you couldn't get over the phone right now. I could be wrong - anyone have a different experince?

I asked about it 2 years ago and (I don't remember what the deal was) they told me that if I paid before I left the resort that I would get a better deal of some sort. I guess I could be mistaken. It could have just been some type of thing they were running at that time. Thanks

At one time, Magical Beginnings allowed onsite guests to apply some (or all) of their current cash stay to a DVC purchase. In return you gave up an equivalent number of points (based on $10 per point for the credit) from their first Use Year.

Magical Beginnings later ended the connection with a current onsite stay and just allowed anyone a credit of $10 per point in exchange for their first Use Year.

The discounts currently offered are available both to telephone purchase and for those taking the tour onsite.
