Question about Dining Plan

We will be traveling from Dec 27- Jan 2, I have planned out all of our meals and we will have two credits each leftover. I was wondering if we would be able to use a credit in the morning for breakfast somewhere before leaving or do they all have to be used before are last night. We are on the deluxe dining plan with three table service meals.

Thanks so much for the quick answer. So I would have to go to breakfast before checking out? Or can you check out then go to breakfast?

You can check out first. Credits are good up until 11:59 PM of your check out day, even after you have checked out. You could have breakfast and lunch if you have 2 credits left if you wish

I believe you have until midnight on check-out day to use those outstanding credits. You can check-out, then use the credits for breakfast or any other meal that last day.

Thanks everyone for the help. I just wanted to make sure we used up all the credits before leaving. Now I'm off to see what is available to book for breakfast on the last day. Anyone with ideas on some place that is not in the parks?

Are you flying or driving? If you're flying, what time is your flight?

As others have said, you have all day on your checkout day to use any remaining dining credits. Just keep in mind that you can no longer charge tips, or extras, to your magic band after you've checked out. You must use cash or credit card for anything over and above your dining credits.

We are driving. So we aren't in a rush to leave out first thing in the morning, we have planned to stop and stay somewhere on the drive home.

Not sure where you're staying but you could do breakfast at a Deluxe Resort and a last boat ride or monorail loop before hitting the road.

Kona Cafe, Whispering Canyon, Grand Floridian Cafe, 1900 Park Fare are tasty breakfast options.

I like 1900 park fare if you're interested in a character meal with good food.

Kona Cafe is another good choice.

If it were me, I'd hold off and have lunch instead (probably at Raglan Road or the Boathouse.)

One more thought since you're driving. Enjoy your breakfast, then head over to DTD. If you can wait until 11:00, you could grab some sandwiches from Earl to take with you and eat on your way that day. It would be better than losing that last credit. If that's too late, pick up something from your resort or the resort where you eat breakfast. Don't leave those credits "on the table."
