question about dining plan

This question has probaly been asked time and time again,but it is the first time we are purchasing the dining plan with a trip. Anyway,what I want to know is this. We are checking into our hotel on the 2nd of January,and checking out on the 11th. So we have a nine night stay there,but we will have 10 day tickets. I was wondering though how many days is the dining plan covered for if we have it for the legnth of stay? We are getting the deluxe dining plan,but probaly won"t arrive until around 3pm on the 2nd.
So then does that mean we would have an extra table service meal and an extra counter service meal from that first day?
Also we would be leaving very early in the morning on the 11th,since we are driving, and wouldn"t be using those meals for that last day.I was thinking maybe we could use these extra dining credits for a couple of 2 TS credits then. But before I plan,I need to make sure that we would be getting 10 days worth of dining plan,from the 2-11? When I booked the vacation,I didn't think to ask her this, just mentioned I wanted the deluxe dining plan,and I am assumming she would have given it to me for the entire legnth of the stay then.Am I right?

You are allotted dining credits based on the number of NIGHTS you stay at your resort. The length of your park ticket is completely irrelevant.

On the deluxe dining plan staying 9 nights you'll each have 27 meal credits (3 per night) and 18 snack credits (2 per night) to use over the length of your stay. You don't have to use credits every single day, you just need to plan to use them all up by midnight of your checkout day, because that is when they will expire.
