Question about DCL beds

This is gonna sound silly, but I just have to ask.

As most of you probably know, WDW uses flat sheets instead of fitted sheets in most of their resort hotels. DH rolls all over the place at night, and when we get up in the morning, the bed looks like a bomb hit it. It makes me CRAZY. So, to fix the problem, I've been taking a fitted sheet with us on recent vacations...problem solved.

So, does DCL use the fitted sheets or the flat sheets?

Don't remember exactly, but by the time you go to breakfast and get back your bed will be made. Sleeping with the sheet moving around is another story, but for enough of a tip maybe your steward will stay in the room and hold the sheet still all night. :teeth:

If I remember correctly, they do use all flat sheets.
I, like your DH, am a VERY restless sleeper, and I move around quite a bit in my sleep. I only remember one morning waking up to messed up sheets.
But you may want to bring your fitted sheet just to be sure.

Thanks Christal, that's what I'll do. I'm sure I can get a "cheapie" sheet at WalMart and just leave it on the ship!

How about buying sheet straps to use on there flat sheets. You can strap these on the underside of each corner to create a corner pocket that will keep your sheet tucked in. I got mine at target.

don't know how it is on disney, but if you bring your own sheet along you may want to remove it each morning... I have severe facial sensitivity to detergents, so I bring my own pillow case on vacation- on royal carribean the first morning I forgot it on the pillow and the steward took it to the wash and I never saw it again!

and he had "no idea" where it was- of course, I then had "no idea" where most of his tip was either!
