I see that the resort is big and has a few bus stops:drive:. Is that a negative? will we wast time getting to a park with all the stops? where can we take a bus that goes straight to the parks?

We stayed at CSR in May. They need a few bus stops because the resort is so large; but having a few means you're never really that far from a bus stop.

For the parks the last pick up is the main building; but as it's the last stop if you're going to miss a seat it'll be waiting here. In 3 weeks I had to stand on a bus maybe twice. Once on the way to MK at 9am & another after Wishes.

The bus only takes about 5 minutes to get around the resort & honestly I thought the service was fantastic. Again in 3 weeks we only waited more than 10 minutes for a bus once. That was because we saw it pull away as we ran to the bus stop. We usually waited <5 minutes.

Haven't stayed anywhere else on property so nothing to compare to I cannot imagine any service being much better than what we experienced.

The only Disney resort that doesn't make multiple stops before heading out to the parks is the Pop Century (and now its sister resort AoA). Every other one either has multiple stops at that resort, or stops at more than one resort.

I've found the bus service at CSR to be very good. Our room was in Casitas 4, which is right by the first bus stop picked up on the way to the parks. We never had to stand, which is a huge plus. Also, as CSR hosts conventions many of the guests are not using the park buses. So more space on the buses that way too.

Honestly, don't pick your resort based on how you think the bus service will be. Each and every resort has bad days and good days. Pick which resort appeals to you most over-all.

We stayed at CSR from 9/28/13 - 10/5/2013 and we had great luck with the busses. We stayed in Cabanas 9B and I was worried because we were at bus stop 4 (the last stop on the way to the parts) but we didn't have any trouble getting space on the bus. We did have to stand once or twice on the way home from the parks but that can happen at any resort.

We loved the resort and we found the bus service to be excellent.

I was traveling with an 8 month old and a four year old so I paid for a preferred room and was placed in Casita 3. ( I had asked for Cabana section but did not get it). We went in Feb and it was during a cold snap. The bus stop was a far walk from our room and the preferred location was not that close to the main building either. It made our bus experience not that enjoyable. Thank goodness it was not raining! At least it was the first bus stop so we always had a seat going but often the last or before last bus stop did not and the passengers had to stand. The buses did come at regular intervals and never waited more than 10-15 min. If I were you I would ask for a room next to a bus stop and a quiet pool. I found CSR to be beautiful and love the rooms but I liked POFQ much better especially for the bus stop convenience and boat to DTD.
