Question about crowds around Dapper Days in Nov

We are tentatively planning a quick 2-day calm-ish trip in early November of this year (with a 3-month-old baby - I feel a little crazy). We have (totally cancellable) reservations both the 1st week of Nov and the 2nd week. (we would go Weds through Thurs or maybe Fri) I noticed Dapper Day is the 6th, on the weekend in between those two. Which days do you think would be less busy - the W-Th before DD or the W-Th after? Anything else scheduled I should wonder about? Lower crowds are going to be our determining factor, probably...

Somethings to note:

• Nov 10-13 is the Super Heroes Half Marathon
• Christmas decorations start going up immediately after Halloween, so later dates might have more complete decorations
• Dapper Day has excellent onsite rates. A night of the actually DD weekend is required, 1 night NON-REFUNDABLE deposit

We have always stayed close before, but we need two rooms now (with 5 kids 10-and-under) so we are opting to stay over in Buena Park this time and park in the Toy Story Lot, I think. I can get 2 double-queen rooms for about $120 a night after taxes. Even paying for parking, it saves us hundreds, and since the hours will be short, we wouldn't need to be going back to the room anyway. But someday I want to take advantage of the Dapper Days rate for just DH and I!
