My kids don’t use their Crocs too often, they always use tennis shoes. So for the parks they’re be wearing their sneakers, but was planning on also bringing their Crocs for the water rides. For those of you who wear Crocs to the parks, do you wear them with socks? If not, doesn’t it bother your feet after walking so much?

Generally people don't wear socks with crocs during the warmer months. Actually crocs are more comfortable to walk around the parks in then sneakers.

We don't wear socks with our Crocs. However, we do spray our feet with an athletic spray that turns to powder in the mornings. This helps with the traction (no blisters) and it keeps us from worrying about athlete's foot.

that's a great Idea but maybe sandals or flip-flops would be better for this one only because.......................... when you walk around there for so long they tend to start to irritate your foot from past experience. and also walking around in socks which is normally what I do ,they will get wet. We found that at the water parks we found a chair and just left our shoes there and went barefoot, and then went back to get our shoes when we moved on to the next area.

I do wear socks with my crocs in the parks...but that's because I'm too chicken to try them without socks. At home, when it's warm, I skip socks.

My boys LOVE their crocs!! They've never spent the whole day in their crocs at WDW b/c we always go back to our room in the middle of the day to rest. But they do wear them at home all the time, and I have yet to see a blister. I think it's wise to always alternate shoes that way you give your feet a little break. We always bring sneaker, crocs, and sandals/flip flops.

I bought Crocs last summer just because of all the rave reviews. I do like them, but for the amount of walking we did (with 4 kids) I felt like I had huge blisters on my feet at the end of the day. Switching with sneakers helped!:thumbsup2

Just spent Saturday night at MK for P&PP and did BOTH Universal parks on Sunday - wore my sneakers on SAturday night, and woke up my feet hurt on Sunday morning. So Sunday I wore my crocs and literally did BOTH Universal parks, got soaked on 3 different water rides, and my feet felt great! AND, DH walked around with prune toes because he wore his sneakers on the water rides, but DD and I had nice, dry feet (can't say the same for the rest of our parts!:rotfl: ) She actually wore her crocs the entire time we were there!

my girls do not wear their crocs for fear of injury...we get the water friendly sandals at stride rite, they have great support, no blisters and the kids never complain. they are worth the $$ IMO. DH and I wear our crocs though and love them. the only crocs i wear socks with are my croc mammoths in the winter.

We just came back from WDW 2 weeks ago and both my girls and husband wore their Crocs (the real ones) the whole entire time for 6 days at the parks. They never complained about sore feet, blisters or anything.

I don't care for the look of Crocs so I bought myself a pair of sandals made by Rockport. They were the most comfortable sandals I've ever owned. They were the only shoes I wore for the week and never got one blister.

My kids wear their Crocs, the entire time we are on vacation! They love them and sometimes wear them with socks, depending on what we are doing. But to do the parks...no socks for us!;)

I wore my crocs for my entire WDW and DL vacations this year and so did DS. We love them. No socks. Just bought the kids some more through a great sale on disneyshopping.com

Me and my DS have been wearing crocs for the past 3 years to the parks well ds the past 2 trips. I don't think either of us ever wore tennis shoes the last trip at all never had any complaints at all dh how ever did a few times so this trip guess what he has ordered that he'll be wearing crocs. My girls don't wear them mainly b/c 80% of the time they are in the stroller so not 'on thier feet all day' and b/c they tend to kick thier shoes off when they sleep and it seems like we ALWAYS lose atleast ONE shoe per vacation! LOL Both of them have lost a shoe at one time or another durring a trip and don't want the them to be able to easily kick off the crocs when sleeping. So usally they are in tennis shoes or cheep flip flops if they need them for water rides, ect.

Has anyone worn the new Prima or Alice style Crocs in the parks? I'm not a fan of the original crocs because I find them to be fairly unattractive, but I would definately conisder getting a pair of one of these to wear if they are as comfortable as the originals.

I don't even own tennis shoes any more. Crocs are just so much more comfortable for me, and I don't ever have an occasion that requires tennis shoes. I always wear socks with new crocs for the first few weeks til the bumps get worn down because they bother my feet, but after that I only wear socks when it's cold out. I wouldn't wear socks with them in the parks because the socks would end up wet. On my last couple of trips, I had on very old crocs, and I found them to be slippery on the wet stone sidewalks, so next time I will buy a new pair a couple months before our trip and break them in before we go.

I have a few pairs but I love my Mary Janes the best. DH loves his off roads, DS likes his croclings best (although they don't dry very quickly) and DD is like me with the Mary Janes!;)

Ye better watch out for them crocs!!!

Yo ho yo ho a pirates life for me.

I definately wear them with some low cut ankle socks. If I don't I end up with a blister from the strap. I don't care how dorky I may look. I figure I'm not there to impress anyone with my feet:rotfl: . For me its more important Having my feet comfy and that equals a great vacation!!!
