Question about credit card used for certain ADR's

The credit card I used to guarantee some of my ADR's has since expired and I have a new card/expiry date. Do I need to call and have them update the reservations with the new expiry date?

The ADR's I have that needed the Credit card were only for guarantee (in case we didn't show up) such as Crystal Palace & Akershus.

I made the ressies online on the old Disney site (I'm in Canada and MDE doesn't work).

In case anyone reads this thread later on I did call in to Disney Dining and was advised that they are unable to modify the credit card used for the "guarantee" on the reservation. I would have to cancel my reservation and make a new one with the new card (expiry date). She said there was no need to do this as my reservation would be kept.

I kind of questioned it saying that if I didn't show up they wouldn't be able to bill me as the card info wasn't correct (so what's the point of the credit card guarantee)??

On a side note this was my first experience calling in (made reservations on the old site - Canadian). Terrible experience... First time rather than speaking to an agent they sent me right to the survey (assuming the agent hung up on me). Second call disconnected during the automated prompts. 3rd call finally spoke to an agent and she was hard to hear (call quality), hard to understand (thick accent) and she kept talking over me. And do they really not have a toll free number? The email confirmation I received only had the (407) WDW-CNC unless I missed it somewhere. Sounds like Disney needs to work on things... Probably old news, I'm new to the party
