Is anyone here a CPA in California? Or know about the education requirements to take the exam. I want to do Pathway 2 and the education requirements list on the CalCPA website are:
- 24 semester units in accounting-related subjects;
- 24 semester units in business-related subjects;
- 150 semester units (or 225 quarter units) of education;
I just graduated with a BS and have finished 122 credits. I fulfill the 24 accounting/business so my question is regarding the 150 units. Can I just go to community college and take a few classes in any subject to fulfill the 150?
Also, if anyone in the accounting field has any advice for a recent graduate, I would greatly appreciate. Its so hard to get my foot in the door!!
