Question about Costumes at MNSSHP

A group of my friends and I are going this year.

I've heard not to dress up as face characters.

The girls in the group are all dressing as girls from Pirates of the Caribbean. I'm in the (lengthy) process of making Tia Dalma's dress. My other friend is going as the redhead. 3 other girls are going in dressed with ropes tied between them. The guys are just dressing like pirates.

Tia's dress is sorta ballgowny. Do you think i'm gonna have any problems getting in? I wouldnt want to go to all the trouble im going to make the dress (its coming out really awesome) and buy the tickets and then be turned away.

Thoughts?

That is a Really Cool dress!!!!! But, in my opinion, I would not walk around that night with the long sleeves. If you make the dress sleeveless, you will be more comfortable, because it's gonna be warm.
I don't think you'll have a problem getting on rides...it's not big and pouffy, it's just a lot of fabric.
Please post a photo when you get back..better yet, what date are you going? Maybe we'll see you there

I've never heard of any rules about not being any face characters. The only thing I would say is to be prepared in case people approach you for pics.

We're not going to ride rides. Just to trick or treat. We'll ride pirates, maybe a few others, what with the wig and everything im sure it'll be tough for me to go on a lot.

And yeah, i anticipate photos. Thanks for the advice.
