If I buy a summer resort pass, can I convert it an annual pass? I am going to disney this Sunday and then again for 3 days in August as we just moved back to California. I am wondering if on that 4th day, if I decide I want annual passes if I can convert them over and pay the price difference. Does anyone on here know? I know you can take a lower end annual pass and convert it up at any time, I am just unsure about the summer pass.

Thanks for any help.

Michele

I'm pretty sure that, if you paid for it, you can use the cost (Disney determined amount) toward the purchase of an annual pass. Anything from a one day one park ticket on up. The main caveat is that it has to be unexpired--You can upgrade on the last day, but not after the last day is over.

They will also back date your AP to the first day you used that upgraded pass. So if your other dates are blocked out, you may want to upgrade earlier to get the discounts.

And since the Summer Fun Pass is only good for 3 days, you will need to either upgrade it or get a different pass (maybe the 4 day pass from Costco) for your planned 4th day. -- Suzanne

And if you get the 4 day costco pass its upgrade value is only $151 per the package.
