Question about Confirmation

I have paid my trip off and we are scheduled to be there the 17th of March. We are driving and I was wondering, if you drive do you still get the luggage tags? My travel agent wasn't sure. Anyone here know?

yes you do, i have made reservations before i made plane reservations, and got the tags. if you don't get them give them a call

Thank you. The Travel agent was supposed to check and I haven't heard from her. I don't think she's as up on Disney as I would like her to be.

I have always flown so I couldn't be certain about the luggage tags but as far as travel agents go, some of them specialize in Disney and are graduates of the Disney college, which is like all things Disney and Disney travel.
I booked my package through Small World Vacations, recommended through mousesavers.com and I have been satisfied with my agent; she answers my questions and believe I do have a lot!

Yes, I'm driving up. I'm necessarily looking for tags but I do think that I need something in writing when I get there. I was just wondering if the confirmation when I did my deposit was what I needed to take. I don't want to show up looking pretty with no place to stay. It would be a long trip back and as long as the trip takes (10 hours with 4 boys), I could think of many ways to torch a person to death if my reservations were wrong. It could get nasty! LOL!

I know what you mean by lots of questions. I have talked to this lady a couple of times every week or so. Of course I'm doing a trip for 10 people and I want to make sure that everything goes smooth for everyone.

Didn't you get an envelope in the mail with all your dates, and who is in your party etc? it should come in a disney envelope and inside is another plastic type clear envelope with all your paperwork. That is what i usually take with me, just in case, and also usually has the luggage tags. with it.
I just made reservations for may and should be getting my envelope this week sometime.

If you didnt get any confirmation letter by mail I would call them and let them know
have a great trip and a safe trip!!

How soon after you complete payment of the package do you usually receive the paperwork you're talking about? I was under the impression from someone else that it came about 2 weeks before you leave for the trip. I'm going to question the travel agent a little more.

I imagine that when I check in early (before 3pm), we're planning on checking in by 12pm, we'll need some kind of tag to locate our luggage and when they need to send it since they'll be taking it to my room while we're in the park.

i got my regular paperwork this past sat, then after I pay in full I will get the paperwork with the tags in about a week or two after that.
you will get your magical express tags about 2 weeks out.


The last two times i went i had to pay in full when i made the reservation because it was after the 45 days, so i got my luggage tags and paperwork, in a week or two after.

I just got an email from my travel agent today that she had gotten the tags this weekend. I'm guessing that the paperwork is either with it or coming shortly after. I really appreciate you helping me with this. I may have more questions.
