Question about Concierge

So I'm new to this whole concierge thing. In fact this upcoming trip (in DEC) will be my first in a Deluxe hotel. Anyway here's the question.

I know the concierge people take care of all your reservations, PS's and stuff. But do they book the illuminations cruise for you - and how likely are they to be successful in booking it (i know the boats are limited and the demand is very high). Should I try to book it as well or am I guaranteed a ressie?

I would really love to do this cruise, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I had all my PS's book around 100 days out, rather than 90. I would contact them when you are around 100 days out too and ask them if they could book your cruise.

Though they have some "pull", they can only book what is available. If you wait till after the 90 day mark and all the boats are taken, I don't think the concierge would be able to book the cruise either.......

Concierge can definitely book it for you. Just let them know before the 90-day mark, and they will be sure to get it for you right when they become available. They are great at that stuff. Don't hesitate to ask them for anything. They are very friendly and want to help you make the most of your vacation.

Thank you both so much! This makes me a little more stress free. As soon as I heard about that illuminations cruise I knew I needed to do it. I will be a GREAT addition to our trip.

ziggystardust , once you have experienced concierge you won't go back! In March I go with friends for a girls only trip. Well, one of them had a birthday on the Saturday we were there and Stephanie, our planner got us a very last minute Illuminations Cruise. I don't know how she did it but she managed to get everything we wanted. I go in Oct with my family and Stephanie has always managed to get us all of our PS requests. We have always had a patio table at Rose and Crown for dinner. It really is best to let them plan your PSs. What resort are you ataying at?
