Hi, we are leaving Sunday for AKV staying in a GV. I am a fairly new DVC owner and was wondering if anyone could tell me what concierge level is and who is eligible for the "perks"? Thanks
You have to book concierge and in DVC there are only a total of 5 two bedroom lock-offs. The GV's do not constitute Concierge level stays as far as DVC goes and I don't know if AKL has any GVs concierge.

To answer your question. It's a concierge level, like most any other hotel:
o private check-in - instead of waiting downstairs in line they have a little lounge area, and you sit down at a desk with the CM who is checking you in.
o the desk has "access" to make reservations for you. Instead of you calling WDW-Dine. The concierge CM can take care of it for you. I've HEARD they can get you reservations at booked places, but it's never worked out for us.
o all day long the lounge is open and has "treats out"
o they will go out of there way for you. Like one day I asked if they had Kona coffee (which I love), the next day they had some Kona.
and the biggie
o you can go on the Sunrise Safari.
The only villas available for Concierge are five two bedroom lockoffs on the sixth floor. No Grand Villas on AKV Concierge level. You'll be on the fifth floor somewhere with the rest of the DVC non-Concierge guests.
