Hey everyone!

So my husband and I are going to WDW on August 29th to visit my sister who will be working in the college program at that time. We have decided we are going to go to the parks 3 days (using her tickets she is given for being a college program CM). Her first day is August 4th.

So, does anyone know any updates on whether or not CM tickets can book FP+? I don't really know much about this. I'm guessing I can't book ahead of time...obv...because I can't link those tickets to our MDE account (because she doesn't even have them yet). I also heard that they aren't even eligible for FP+ because they are CM tickets......

I was just curious if we would be able to book the day-of FP+ once we get into the park or not...

Any info would be appreciated. I don't even know if we NEED FP+ or not, crowd calendars are predicting low crowds and we don't need to see everything (We've been there many times). The one thing I would really like to see is 7DMT so that's maybe my only concern right now.

THANKS! :thumbsup2

My daughter is a CM and I believe she can get FP+ at the kiosks in the parks. We tend to not use them with her very much, but I am pretty sure that is what she said.

Yes, once you enter a park, use the CM's Main Gate Pass and the Guest Passes to get Fp+ at the kiosks or by having an iPad CM assist you. You cannot link these passes to MDE/MDX at this time.

Just did this with a CM two weeks ago and booked hers in the park at the kiosks. We were surprised at how simple it was to schedule her FPs to coincide with ours. Not always the exact same times, but overlapping times anyway, so we were able to ride together with FPs.

Congratulations to your sister ! Have her find out from one of her managers if she will have her pass by then She may find that info on her first day

Good idea! I will let her know ...we def want to take advantage of the CM perks!

Not to hijack this post, but when did they start giving MainGate + Guest Passes to College Program CM's? I was CP in 1999, but only got access for myself. Just curious, really. Nice perk!

My DD was a CP CM in 2010 and she had Main Gates with access for 3 guests. When Disney implemented the hard plastic RFID tickets, CMs received 3 RFID Guest Passes along with their Main Gates.

Main Entrance Pass (MEP - 6 admits for herself and 3 guests) and Guest Passes "normally" take a couple of weeks to process and receive (mailed), but also "can be" (probably with a prior request) picked up at the 8th flr. of Celebration, Cast ticketing. Not sure if they will do that for CP's or not though.

To the poster of MEPS in 1999, my daughter was a CP at Studios in 1995 and she had an MEP with herself and 3 guests, same as now.

Aw great, first my knees start to ache after I run, and now I may in fact be losing my marbles. You're a cruel master, mid-30's... ;)

(thanks for the info though, all)

So my sister's friend from college worked at Disney in the College Program last fall and according to her the "Main Gate Pass" changed a little bit.

Instead of the 6 MGPs where you can bring in 3 guests at a time, now they give you (I don't know the official terminology) 18 guest passes. Each time one is used the College Program CM must be with the guest, but you no longer have the issue of bringing in 1 person with you and "losing" the other 2 passes for that day. Now they can just use 1 of the 18 guest passes when needed (as long as the CM is there).

So when we go, I was expecting we would use my sisters Main Gate Access and two guest passes (myself and my husband) for each of the days we want to go to the park. We will be using 6 of her guest passes.

EDIT: My sister is now saying this is a change they are making for the upcoming programs

Make sure your sister checks the Hub to see if there are any blocked out parks during your stay. Last week, MK was available on the 15th but blocked out again beginning on the 16th.

Dreams0308:

A CP gets an MEP and 3 Guest Passes. The MEP will have 6 uses and they get themselves and UP TO 3 guests for each admit, so yes, it is for a TOTAL OF 18 but each of the 6 admits can also have up to 3 guests each.

Also be aware that block out dates due apply to the guest passes.

If any questions, PM me. I work Main Entrance Operations from time to time at MK (here right now working a entry shift sitting in the turnstile break room typing this) and can answer most for you regarding Park entry.

Another thing to remember is that the CMs work schedule may not enable them to get you into the park in the morning. You may have to wait until the afternoon.
