Does everyone wear ya know shorts and shirts while in WDW or do people wear bathing suits with shorts? We are going in Early August and was wondering if I would be breaking some rule if I wore my suit and shorts..... LOL IM SUCH A WORRY WART :rotfl:

We went in January and I did not see anyone wearing just a bathing suit and shorts. Everyone I saw were in regular clothes.

I'm not sure if you are allowed. I highly doubt a bikini top would be allowed, but I don't know about a regular suit. I know if you have a T-shirt w/questionable content they can refuse to let you into the park.

My dh has said before that you can't wear tank tops, but I see them (and have worn them) in the parks so they may have changed some of their rules in the last few years. I just keep an extra t-shirt in my bag just in case.

Gee, I never considered that you couldn't wear sleeveless tops . . I assumed with it being so warm that you could . . I could understand spaghettie strapped tops that stop show your belly but conservative tank tops that cover everything but your shoulders. . . I'm going to have to rethink my wardrobe.

You absolutely can wear tank tops! You will see many, many women and girls in camisole-style tops in warmer weather. And yes, I've seen a few people with bikini tops. You'll be amazed at the skimpy clothing you see on people. We went to WDW 17 times last year, and we saw a lot. ;)

Personally, I'd be really uncomfortable in a bathing suit all day, but there are people who do it.

My dh has been going from the day DW opened. Like I said I'm sure they have changed the rules from time to time! I have worn (tasteful) tanktops. I personally would think that would be a better alternative than a swimsuits.

Of course I won't wear a bikini period (much to dh's dismay). So take my words for what they are worth!

I wouls never be caught dead in a bikini Im a big girl but I would often wear my bathing suit with shorts and maybe a tee shirt if I felt over exposed, i know on water rides I like having a dry shirt later in the day. LOL

I have gone several times in august the past few years and I suggust wearing lite weight clothes that dry quickly because of the heavy rain but would suggest not to wear a bathing suit with shorts. Most people are wearing fairly nice casual outfits. i hope this helps

When we were there last July 4th, our girls wore their bathing suits with shorts. There were some teens that way too.

oh no does this mean that Im stuck in the 80's? Im gettin old guess Im still tryin to dress like the kids! Find send me a moo moo I will be comfy in that right! ROFL

I'd be worried about a little 'overexposure' while wearing a bikini top on some rides... Wouldn't want to pop out of it!
