We went on a DC about 2 years ago and had early dining. We

found that most of the programs were timed to be during the

early dinner roatation and so our kids didn't get to attend very

many of them. We are going again next Sept and was wondering

if this is still the case.

Actually, we've found that most of the fun evening programs in the club/lab occur during the late dining. The kids with early seating get to do the activities. However, as DD has gotten older, we really do prefer the late seating even though it means she misses some fun in the programming.

We solved this by telling our servers that DS would be going to the club early when they greeted us at dinner. He stayed with us for the formal & semiformal nights until dinner was over then went to the show with us before hitting the club for a bit. They were wonderful about bringing out his chicken strips right after we got our drinks & were enjoying our appetizer. The desert was at the table as soon as he was finished and I had plenty of time to take him to the club and return before our entree was served. The one night there was a bit more of a line they kept the silver cover on my plate. This is what we are planning to do with both kids in December too.

I did the same as lb for one of the nights. There was something our son wanted to do, so we explained it to the servers and his food was served quickly. I ran him down to the club and returned and didn't miss a thing. Overall, there wasn't too much he really missed during dinner, but that's his liking not everyone's.

at least with the younger two age groups, the kids can have lunch and/or dinner with the counselors - and frankly, I thought they got a better set of choices at the kids buffet than on the kids menu in the restaurants. our daughter (4) enjoyed going to dinner with the other kids - we checked in once and the counselors were most helpful with getting the food on to the cafeteria trays, etc. our daughter much preferred this to dining with us! thus, she didn't miss any of the club activities
