We will be in Disney in August and we have made our PS at the restaurants we would like to eat at. I went and looked at the menus of some of them and I have a picky 15 yr old who will not like some of the regular menus. Will he be allowed to order off of the childrens menu? He would probably order two meals from the childrens menu. Do they allow this? Thanks for any info!

I don't see why not. We ate at the Coral Reef and I can't eat fish, period, it doesn't like me. But we went because DH loves it and well since I can't eat it he doesn't get much of it. So I ordered off the kids menu and they didn't have a problem with it at all.

Thanks Cobbler, he has food allergies also, and sometimes it is easier if he just orders the macaroni and cheese and and chicken strips. :sunny:

If anyone questions your DS ordering off the children's menu, I'd definitely mention the allergies. I would think that should be enough to avoid any problems.

BTW - When I was looking at the menus for some restaurants on allearsnet.com, I saw a note that one can call ahead for special dietary needs meals. This mostly seemed to be at the "nicer" places, i.e. table service, character meals, etc. That might be something to consider to give him a bit more variety - assuming he wouldn't get tired of mac & cheese and chicken strips.
